Candice Miller reportedly finding a way to move on with her life six months after her husband Brandon Miller‘ untimely death.
The former mom blogger is said to be attending parties, various events and dinners after rehabbing in Miami Beach, Florida, according to Page Six report published on Saturday, January 11. Two friends who claim to be close to Candice, 42, told the outlet that she has been seen attending exercise classes and is not saying there is anything o’ to le or vice versa, according to the same report.
Candice’s husband Brandon died unexpectedly in July 2024. His death was later ruled a suicide. Candice and Brandon married in 2009 and later welcomed two daughters.
“Candice is devastated by the loss of her soul mate, and the loss of their beloved father forever affects the lives of her two young daughters,” a family spokesperson said in a statement to the New York Times shortly after Brandon’s death.
Candice and Brandon were best known for showcasing their seemingly extravagant lifestyle online through the mother of two’s now-defunct blog “Mama & Tata” and Instagram account. In previous posts, Candice would highlight the family’s various trips on multi-million dollar yachts, private jets, and more.
But in the wake of Brandon’s death, court papers obtained by The New York Times in December 2024 it was revealed that the late real estate mogul was $33.6 million in debt at the time of his death. According to Candice, her husband died without a will, leaving her in huge debt and, according to the social media star, only $8,000 in her bank account.
Like Us Weekly previously reported, Candice “initially deactivate her social media follows” following Brandon’s death, and in court papers obtained by The New York Timesshe claimed she had $20 million in unsecured loans from various banks.
That same year, Candice was also sued for $195,000 in unpaid rent on the couple’s Manhattan condo. Documents obtained from Us she claimed at the time that the influencer had failed to pay, while Candice’s lawyers argued that she was not responsible for the payments because her name was not on the flat’s lease.
Earlier this year, Candice is said to have started auctioning off her husband’s property, according to s Page Six report issued on January 3. According to the store, a number of items were listed on the Ninja Auction website, which included a “curated, unique online auction” at the Mecox Bay Watermill Estate.
“The auction features a carefully selected collection of fine art, furniture, decor, and bespoke pieces that were part of the home’s decor, providing a unique opportunity to own a piece of stunning, handcrafted living space this,” an online description of the auction items reads. “For collectors and design enthusiasts, this is an unmissable opportunity to acquire beautifully curated rare items with the unique touch of a renowned designer.”
According to Saturday’s report from Page SixCandice doesn’t shop regularly but instead lives a relatively quiet life compared to her previous luxurious online persona. She is said to be out on Halloween with her children, and although her life has changed exponentially, she apparently hasn’t either – just living a quiet, low-key life.
The report also describes Miami as the perfect place for Candice to start, in part because it’s full of people who will accept the former social media influencer.
