Hong Kong announces Squad for the Asia Cup 2025, Yasim Murtaza to lead

Hong Kong Cricket has announced its 20 -member squad for the Asia Cup 2025with all-to-blinger Yasim Murtaza Captain named. The tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates, where Hong Kong is in a hard B group next to Afghanistan, Bangladesh and defense of Sri Lanka champions. The side will open its campaign against Afghanistan on September 9 in Abu Dhabi, followed by matches against Bangladesh (September 11, Dubai) and Sri Lanka (September 15, Abu Dhabi).

The fifth appearance of the Hong Kong Asia Cup

This year’s participation marks the fifth appearance of Hong Kong in the Asia Cup, having presented earlier in 2004, 2008, 2018 and 2022. Yasim Murtaza fulfilled leadership tasks
