Hoda Kotb Family Album With Daughters and Loved Ones: Photos

Hoda Kotb often amazed at how her loved ones have defined her life – especially her daughters, Haley and Hope.

The Today anchor became a mother when she adopted her little ones in 2017 a 2019respectively, with her partner at the time, Joel Schiffman. The former couple got engaged after six years of dating in 2019 call it quits in 2022.

When it comes to raising her children, Hoda has often credited her mother, Sameha Kotbfor inspiring her approach to parenting. “She was a wonderful mother. It was strict,” he said Today in 2016. “That’s how we lived. You understood what nothing meant. There was no ‘But everyone else does it.’ She couldn’t have cared less what anyone else was doing.”

After her separation from Schiffman, Hoda discussed the lessons she was trying to instill in Haley and Hope.

“I think one thing I really want to work on with my girls too, is for them to have their voice,” she said to sight360. Us Weekly in November 2022. “(Teaching them about) being brave enough to say what they need, what they want and not feel greedy or too much or too bossy. … I think I want my girls to be more vocal and say what they want and not be afraid and not try to conform to be what other people want.”
