Sofia Franklyn imposes the record straight on her former HBO Boyfriends Sports Executive Peter Nelson’s the level of participation in its deal with strange.
In an interview on Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast Released on Monday, June 16Franklyn actually explained what happened behind the scenes. (Franklyn revealed that the two had ended their relationship CHAPTER 2023 from the “raw chat” podcast.)
“I think (Nelson’s participation) is a kind of fake. I think the media has tried to spin on it and say it’s so involved,” Franklyn explained to Tartick. “He was my love. Like, you’re obviously going to trust your love for your work and everything that happens in your life. But that probably didn’t get involved.”
Tartick also asked if what eventually happened with her relationship with Nelson leading Franklyn to decide to keep any relationship out of the spotlight in the future.
“Yes, but not for the reasons, as, they are being addressed,” he explained. “For the reasons, like, they are getting negative attention. They didn’t ask to be a public figure. And I don’t want this public to have a relationship yet.”
He continued, “He didn’t want to be, you know, speaking in public in the news.
The deal in question was about the original version of the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which co-founded Franklyn with Alex Cooper. The pair started the podcast in 2018 and founder Barstool Sports came to them David Portnoy After one episode broadcast. They signed a three -year deal with the company that started falling apart in 2020 after Portnoy heard rumors that the duo was shopping the show to other networks.
