Hired and reversed payers die

Former British Army officer and mercenary Simon Mann, who was attempted by a coup in Equatorial Guinea in 2004, died of a heart attack during sports, friends confirmed.

A 72-year-old guy earned millions of pounds from the protection of enterprises in conflict zones before taking part in a failed attempt to overthrow West Africa.

Mann was sentenced to 34 years in prison on charges of weapons, and later stated that he was a “leader, not an architect” of this scheme.

In 2009, the ex-team was pardoned, released and gave 48 hours to leave the country.

The plot was an attempt to overthrow President Theodore Obiang Nguema – at a time when Mann and accomplices stated that the goal was to establish opposition leader exiled by North Moto.
