With the Asia Cup 2025 approaching, Cricket fans are preparing for an exciting month of action. Players take their point in the field, and commentators play a crucial role in giving life to the spectators. The official transmission has announced the Hindi comments group of the next tournament.
The Asia Cup will have eight teams competing for the trophy. India and Pakistan attract more attention, while other teams also have the potential to impact. The games will take place in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with live coverage available at Sony Sports Network for both television and online streaming.
India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, along with three associated nations, will compete in the Asia Cup 2025. The tournament will have 19 games in two places, with teams divided into two groups. The first two of each group will advance to the Super 4 stage.

The finalists will then fight for the championship. India, the defense champions, won the victory in the final of 2023, while Sri Lanka won the trophy in the T20i 2022 edition.

Asia Cup 2025 will have eight teams, an increase in previous editions. However, the tournament will follow the traditional format, with a group stage, a super four stage and the final.
Group A includes India, Pakistan, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, while Group B presents Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong.
The competition will begin on September 9 with Afghanistan faced with Hong Kong, followed by India assumed to the Arab Emirates united on September 10. India will play the remaining group matches on September 14 and 19. The Super Four Stage begins on September 20, bringing to the final on September 28.
Above all, the Asia Cup started with three teams and expanded to four until 2000, six teams in 2004 and 2008, and the last three editions also featured six teams each. India enters the 2025 edition as a defense champion, after having defeated Sri Lanka in the 50’s final.
