The book – released on Tuesday, May 6 – made it clear within the first few pages that Hilaria, 41, was not a “gold excavator,” she had then dedicated many pages of the biography proving. Hilaria was 27 to 53 Alec when they first met.

How did he court
The “first six weeks” of their relationship included talks between Alec and Hilaria alone.
“He would shake my hand hello and goodbye,” he remembered. “As much as I found humor in his old -fashioned dating style, I found it refreshing and completely different from what I was used to.”
Hilaria wrote that she could “relax” her dating fears during the early days of their courtesy.
“It made it clear and showed up. I allowed myself to drop my uncertainty – let’s go from my fear of heartbreak and uncertainty of the future. I pressed in. Both of us did,” he wrote. “People often look at our age difference as strange or negative – sometimes we do too! – But I feel that one of the huge benefits is the older we get, the more we are aware of how valuable life is.”
Alec’s life change
Hilaria wrote that she was praised for Alec’s lifestyle changes – and explained why that is not the case. Early in their relationship, Alec was told he was a prediabetic. Hilaria “made lists of foods to eat and not eaten” and “start feeling much better” after she worked with him.

When Valentine’s Day Having come around, Hilaria did not get Alec’s card, he expected.
“I was getting a lot of information about my love. He really looked at Alec Baldwin,” he shared. “It’s romantic, it’s emotional – even needy at times. He tells you exactly what he needs and exactly when he needs it.”

“I had focused so much on how I thought things should be, and Alec was so ready in his ways. None of us would blaze. I took my rings away as a sign that I could be ready to walk,” he wrote. “Going into a relationship like cement blocks will end in divorce, and that’s where we were going. We had to warm up and melt our own solid, be prepared to look within and see how we could do better.”
