Chennai Super Kings sink more into trouble in the IPL 2025 ongoing, and after their fourth consecutive defeat in the tournament, former Indian coach Kris Srikkanth made a cheeky reality control while signaling his fingers in his bowling unit.
On Tuesday, April 8, Chennai Super Kings suffered another crushing defeat, and this time, Punjab Kings handed them a loss of 18 to five champions at the 22nd IPL 2025 game at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.
Having pursuing 220 runs, Chennai Super Kings had a fantastic start, but after Rachin Ravindra’s dismissal for 36 runs of 23 balls, Captain Riuraj Gaikwad again failed with the bat, dismissed by only 1 run against the kings of Punjab.
However, Shivam Dube (42) and Ms. Dhoni (27) attempted their best, but devon conway 69 shot of 69 balls could not help them during their unpleasant persecution.
After suffering his fourth consecutive defeat at the IPL 2025 ongoing, Kris Srikkanth left an amazing statement on the current situation of Chennai Super Kings this season.
The former Indian Cricter believes that CSK bouncing possibilities are completely dependent on their bowls.
Srikkanth said that the persecution of scores above 180 seems to be an ascending task for Chennai, given an undoing fight order that has yet to be clear and pace in the tournament.
Feel that if Chennai Super Kings bowls continue to filter -things could be worse for them in the coming games.
The former Indian selector also urged Chennai Super Kings to act quickly. He also suggested that if the five times IPLs want to stay alive in the playoff race, they must find a way to keep the opponents under control with the ball to stage their comeback at the tournament.
Kris Srikkanth published in X: “This is the time CSK does something with his bowls and restricts opponents in less than 180 because the battle order is not set for a score beyond that! If CSK has to come up, everything is based on his bowling and not on his battle! #CSKVSPBKs”
Its CSK moment does something with their bowls and restricts opponents to less than 180 because the battle order is not set for a score beyond that. If CSK has to return, everything rests on your bowls and not in your battle. #CSKVSPBKs

Srikkanth also believes that CSK can make three changes in his game XI at the next games to return to his IPL 2025 campaign. Feel it is time to bring Jamie Overton to Rachin Ravindra’s place.
Since Chennai bowls have been filtered, they can use the dirty rhythm of Jamie Overton, and their power can be of great help to the franchise.

He also suggested that the pattern, Ruturaj Gaikwad, must return to his natural position at the top of the order, as he is more dangerous when he opens, and CSK needs this early impulse in the tournament.
The latest change Srikkanth believes that Chennai’s team should do is to drop Ravichandran Ashwin to add more fire power in the middle.
Cricket expert believes that CSK should replace Ravichandran Ashwin with a suitable batter who can deal with pressure and finish matches for them at the tournament.
May be the one that happens the next game
