“He’s one of us” – Catholic Americans respond to the Pope

Robert prevost became the first American to be elected by the Pope after a two -day conclave in the Vatican city. The 69-year-old boy will become the 267th residents of St. Peter’s throne, and he will be known as Leo XIV.

Born in Chicago in 1955, the parents of Spanish and Franco-Italian descent served as the altar and was ordained as a priest in 1982. He is the first American who filled the role of the Pope.
