As the Los Angeles area continues to battle wildfires, here are some restaurants — both local and national chains — offering free meals to firefighters and other first responders.
Be sure to check with each one individual restaurant as these offers may vary from location to location.

Nine Blaze Pizza locations in Southern California offer emergency response services free 11 inch pizza (plain or one topping) until Sunday, Jan. 12, the chain said in a Jan. 10 Instagram post.

The California sandwich shop is offering free food to first responders at several of its locations, the restaurant said in a Jan. 9 Instagram post.
“To our incredibly brave first responders – if you have the time, enjoy a free meal at our Hollywood, Westwood, Encino, Venice and Culver City centers,” the post said.
Some locations in Southern California offer free meals to firefighters. In addition, the company has placed its “cookout trucks” outside restaurants located near the fires.

“It was an honor to provide free meals for firefighters with our food trucks and at our locations near areas that have been hit hard by the fires,” In-N-Out said on its Instagram page.
KFC offers free KFC bowls first responders, including law enforcement officers, EMS members, firefighters and “military responders (carrying a first responder ID),” the company said in a Friday, Jan. 10, release. . .

The free bowls are available through Monday, January 20 at participating area restaurants. A list of participating restaurants is available on the KFC website.
The Southern California-based diner chain is offering firefighters and police officers free entry until 11 p.m. Jan. 12, according to its website.
This offer is not valid in Las Vegas.

The burgers are “a little thank you for all you do,” the post said.
Sizzler locations in Van Nuys, Los Feliz, Palmdale and Culver City, California are offering free meals to firefighters and evacuees.

“Please come in for a free hot meal,” Sizzler posted Thursday afternoon on Facebook and X. “Just let our cashier know you’re here for a fire service meal,” the post said.
Meal options include a 6-ounce steak, six large crispy shrimp, or a Malibu chicken dish, plus a side and a fountain drink.
