Complaints against Irfan Pathan from Indian cricketers
According to Mykhel, Pathan’s exclusion results from the complaints of several current Indian cricketers who considered his comment to become more and more personal and critical instead of target. According to reports, players were discomfort for observations perceived as attacks on their performance. In a prominent case, a player allegedly blocked Pathan’s number after being upset by his comments during the recent Australia series.
The report also suggests that Pathan showed a lot of attitude while interviewing certain players during international games and IPL in the past and this did not go well with the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI). “Otherwise, the name would have been there. It has been happening for the past two years, as it carried its personal agendas against certain players and this did not go well with the system.” A source was cited at Mykhel.
The stations were dissatisfied with the activity of Pathan’s social networks, where he made observations on specific players. These actions raised their concern that younger players were inadvertently trapped in the fire of their criticisms, influencing the decision to leave it from the list of comments this season.
“Pathan had a fall with a couple of players a few years ago. Since then, he has not been referring to them aggressively.
