Hearn demands that Keyshawn Davis face Cruz: “There are no other options” for Wbo Lightweight Champion

Promoter Eddie Hearn says he wants to fight between Andy Cruz and the Light Wbo champion, Keyshawn Davis. Matchroom promoter Hearn claims that Keyshawn (13-0, 9 kos) has no one who is available to fight now not to be his grandmothers, Cruz (5-0, 2 kos).

Keyshawn captured the 135 LB Wbo Belt last month, and eliminated champion Denys Berinchyk in the fourth round on February 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Although Davis has talked about how to be the new WBO champion will change his life in terms of great fights that fall into the lap, as Isaac ‘Pitbull’ CruzIt has not happened.

Unless the first range can get a large enough offer to attract Pitbull, no one is popular enough for an interesting struggle for Keyshawn. He may not care. He has never fought against anyone since he became a professional and has spent much of his time talking about what life will look like when he surpasses Gervonta Davis one of these days.

Keyshawn does not want to build up to a fight against the tank facing the most important talents. He just wants the struggle to be given on a silver dish based on his victories on lower level fighters.

Fight Andy Cruz

The most realistic struggle for Keyshawn is Andy Cruz, its four conqueror, but will have to show a little courage because I did not want to have no part of fighting the talented Cuban since he became a professional since he became a professional in 2023. Cruz has been calling from the first day without anywhere and there is no other way to look at Keyshawn’s reluctance.

He was whipped four times to Cruz fans, and realized that he will never hit him, no matter how great he is. Keyshawn seems to be an average weight soon, as it is huge after rehydrating -for his fights. For his latest fight against Petit Berinchyk, 36, he resembled a half -junior weight on the night of the fight.

Poor Berinchyk never had a chance with such a big boy. It is very bad that the four sanctioning organs do not have a rehydration clause of 10 LB like IBF because it makes it impossible for fighters to be seen against bullying.

Cruz is in place 1 WBC, #3 IBF, #3 WBA and #9 Wbo. Interestingly, Hearn does not press because the light champion of WBC, Shakur Stevenson, fights against Cruz, but he is understandable. Hearn is trying to align Gervonta Davis’s struggle for Shakur, and the last thing he needs is Andy Cruz to come before he will make this fight.

Push of Eddie

“We want to push Andy Cruz to a big struggle. There have been a couple of conversations about a possible struggle in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia or a Ring Magazine Program,” Eddie Hearn told @cesarseda. “We would like to make a Keyshawn Davis struggle. I look at Keyshawn’s options. Who is more than struggling to fight?

“It’s also a great struggle,” said Hearn about Floyd Schofield is an option for Andy Cruz. “Schofield lost Shakur Stevenson’s struggle. Why not fight Andy Cruz? It’s a great struggle. This struggle would be in July, but we would like to recover a little sooner.

“Obviously, he has just struggled in January (against Omar Salcido). May or June would be good for Andy,” said Hearn.

Floyd Schofield probably would not want to fight Andy Cruz because he has learned that Shakur Stevenson will look at his way and launch him a bone. He will not want to disorder his chances of paying against Shakur fighting against Cruz and getting to school.
