Eddie Hearn forecasts the reissue of Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn will be at “Records Breakfast event” When it takes place on September 20. Matchroom promoter believes that there will be even more interest in a second struggle between Benn and Eubank Jr. That last April, which was a unilateral struggle with Chris Jr. earning easily.
Hearn says he leaves it to “his excellence” Turki Alshikh to reveal the location of the event. With him saying he will be “break of records”, he restricts London’s options.
The Wembley Stadium would be the most likely place, but it is a risky choice, as fans could turn the noses into unnecessary resuscitation without any absolutely sporting value. It is the boxing of celebrities. Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 kos) is 35 years old and is not close to the world champions.
“It will be a record event. Conor Benn can fight on Saturday. It is ready. September 20 is at 12, 13 weeks away? It is still a long time, but we are ready and ready for a mass event,” said Eddie Hearn a TV IFL.
Hearn’s prediction for a record event would make more sense that Benn eliminated one or two solid -weight contestants between a second struggle with Eubank Jr. fans. He was considered more opportunity in a resale and would be more willing to buy the event at PPV. This does not happen. The two will return only to collect their Saudis.
“We have a contract with Saudi Arabia for two fights in the same terms, in terms of rehydration,” Hearn said about the 10 -pound rehydration clause. “Chris Eubank Jr. slept on Saturday morning because he was fine and weighed his clothes and jacket. It was a pound. The rehydration was not a problem.”
People are doing too much of the 10 -pound rehydration clause for the fight. Although it will be a nuisance to Ebank JR, he will treat it and will still dominate Benn because he is a much better fighter. Benn is a limited fighter who should compete in heavy weight and even in this class of weight, it would be a lower feeder. It is not at the level of the best contenders like Shakhram Giyasov or Eimantas Stanionis.
Hearn knows better than coinciding with Benn against these boys, and would definitely not be crazy enough to put him in a fight against the title against Wbo champion, Brian Norman Jr., and to see that he is destroyed. The interest of British fans Benn would evaporate during the night after a brutal loss of the first tie against Norman Jr.
“160, I think he had a problem. Many fighters fight for weight, but this is his weight. He can’t say he was out of order, doing it 160. No, this was not his weight.
