The Rajasthan Royals (RR) workshop Vaibhav Suryavanshi revealed that he received more than 500 calls lost after his record of the century against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025. He made this revelation during a chat with RR main coach Rahul Dravid, after his six -wicket victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Delhi.
Rajasthan Royals’s IPL 2025 season concluded with the team that ends the second place below the point table. They lost their playoffs, but they may find some positive ones. Vaibhav Suryavanshi offered impressive performances, which is positive in a challenging campaign for the IPL’s inaugural champions.
Rajasthan Royals bought Vaibhavavanshi for € 1.1 crores at the 2025 IPL auction. The left hand batter climbed in the initial parties, but had his opportunity when Captain Sanju Samson was left out with an injury.

Suryavanshi performed only in his third game IPL. He accumulated an outbreak 101 that came out of 38 balls against the titans of Gujarat. The SouthPaw became the fastest India to reach a century IPL in only 35 balls.
He also helped the Rajasthan Royals to pursue a hard goal. The IPL talked about talking about the young prodigy who caught everyone’s attention with their extraordinary talent.
After the CSK VS RR game, Suryavanshi shared with coach Rahul Dravid who received more than 500 lost calls. He said that many people came to him after his performance, but prefer to keep him near the family and a few friends.
“I received more than 500 lost calls, but I had kept the phone off. Many people were approaching after the century. But I don’t like (having too many people). I try to stay -I had kept my phone for 4 days; I told you. I like to be around my people at home and a few friends. This is,” said Suryavanshi (Via Hindustan).
Suryavanshi scored 57 runs with only 33 balls, taking Rajasthan Royals to victory against Chennai Super Kings. He has scored 252 runs in seven games with an average of 36 and a prominent strike rate of 206.55.
Rahul Dravid praised Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his debut season at the IPL. Dravid advised the 14-year-old to continue training hard and evolving his game, warning that the bowls would study him closely and return better prepared next season.
“It was a great season. Keep doing what you have done, play well, train -well. But keep in mind that next year, all these bowls will prepare, more prepared against you. So we also have to prepare, train hard and develop more skills. Well done,” said Dravid (using a mentioned source).
Rajasthan Royals won only four wins in 14 games. Before the IPL, Suryavanshi had a limited experience, with only first class, six lists A and a single T20 appearance.
