TRinking Buddies is a romantic comedy that is not exactly simple ROM-com. Directed by Mumblecore Film Maker Joe SwanbergThe movie is a little more serious than your average Reese Witherspoon Fflic. He is more realistic about how he depicts the complexities of modern relationships, and presents all his characters as lacking but basically meaningful people who are endlessly confused about love. Unlike most films in this genre, the film’s finals are refreshing and honest. Sometimes love doesn’t overcome at all, he argues, but that’s fine as long as you have a nearby drinking friend to help you throughout.

How well do you know Jane Fonda? The iconoclastic actress has been praised, blackened, admired and ignored throughout much of her life, so much so that a 134 -minute documentary can but touch the great life she has had so far.
And that’s life! For much of his life, Joe Paterno (To the Pacino) is respected by his family, friends and peers. As head coach of the Penn State College football team, Paterno helped the school win several championships and give his financial endowment. That all came crashing in 2011, when his now retired assistant coach was, Jerry SanduskyHe was charged with sexual abuse During his time at Penn State. Although Paterno was not about Sandusky’s crimes, he knew about them, and for some, he did not do enough to stop them.

Pater A fascinating look at a man who worked hard to build his own legend but did not work hard enough to act like a decent human being when he counted. As the Paterno family realizes what he has done – or rather what he did not – they finally see a defective man rather than the local myth that everyone loves. Like the title character, Pacino gives one of his most convincing performances in years. His coach is a proud man who is not prepared to own his off -field failures. Ironically, that proves to be a fall and what people now remember all the years later.
