Haris Rauf explodes in the press after the loss against NZ, defends young Pakistan players

Pakistan’s national team, Pacer, Haris Rauf, was criticized after his team lost two T20is against New Zealand’s National Cricket team in the ongoing series. He said he has become the standard in Pakistan, as people expect the team to lose so that they can comment.

The new age of Pakistan’s cricket did not go in the way they would have wanted. The young guns of the team could not set the stage in the ongoing T20i series against the National Nalanda National Click team. Green’s men lost the first two games of the series by mass margins.

Pakistan lost the first two T20is of the series against New Zealand

The young players, in particular, have fought a lot. In the first game, Pakistan went out for 91 runs and then lost the game due to 9 doctors. They were expected to reach a struggle in the second game, but this was not the case.

In a game that reduced to 15 points, Pakistan published a total of 135 runs. The young players again struggled to score. It was the pattern Salman Agha, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi who made vital contributions and helped the team publish a total of struggles on the board.

However, after that, they fought with the ball, as the young people, along with the senior pacers, took for the races. Haris Rauf was the only player to pay attention to the ball as he took two doctors and gave away 20 runs in the three points he threw.

Some people only sit down and wait for the Pakistani team to be lost so that you can talk in some way: Haris Rauf

Haris Rauf attended the press conference after the game, but it was not easy about critics related to young players. He said young people need time and freedom to develop. Speaking to journalists after the second T20I, said:

“Criticizing has now become common in Pakistan, random comments are made by anyone. Young players must receive freedom and deserve at least 10-15 games to develop well.

“Some people only sit and expect the Pakistani team to be lost so that they can talk somehow and I think they have their own opinion, they can give it.

We all motivate our young people, we tell them what kind of cricket is this: Haris Rauf

Haris Rauf added that they are trying to build a new team, emphasizing that they and the seniors are trying to motivate their young people and understand them what the international cricket is. Explained:

“The way we are trying to build our team, as a senior, we all motivate our young people, we tell them what kind of cricket it is, what are your requirements in the international cricket, they will have to play the cricket in this way.”
