Bowling first in the game, I allowed GT to record a huge 196/8 score on the board, and while pursuing the total, the battle unit failed, giving rise to the MI was restricted to 160/6.
When speaking after the game, Hardik Pandya said they beat and turned bad and that their field performance was also poor. Said:
“Hard to combine it, I think Batting and Bowling had 15-20 shorts in both places. We were not professionals in the field, we made basic mistakes and this cost us 20-25 runs and in a T20 game that is quite a bit.”
Hardik Pandya further praised Gujarat’s open to beat brilliantly and sent a strong message to the highest order of Mumbai Indians, saying they have to take responsibility.
“ They (GT Openers) beat brilliantly, just a couple of deliveries here and there. They were quite exceptional, they did not have much possibilities, they did the right things, they were able to do races without playing many risky features. Since then, for the moment, we have to take responsibility, they are still early scenarios. The batters have to come to the party, we hope to do so soon, ” said Pandya.
Hardik Pandya signed saying that the pitch was a slower side and that the shake became difficult. Said:
“In this wicket (the slowest deliveries) were the hardest balls, some fired, some bounced off, as the batters become difficult. They (GT Bowlers) did what I did with the ball.”
In the previous match against the Titans of Gujarat at the IPL 2024 on March 24, the Mumbai (MI) Indians approached the victory, but finally lost the game by six runs in Ahmedabad.
Pursuing the target of 169 runs, Mi lost Ishan Kishan for a duck soon, but recovered through the good battle of Rohit Sharma (43 of 29) and Naman Dhir (20 of 10).
Dewald Brevis also became decent and encrypted 46 runs of 38 balls, keeping me in a control position. At 107/2 in 12 points, the five times champions had a comfortable victory.
However, GT threw things very well. Rohit Sharma’s dismissal triggered a collapse, and the Titans came into a dominant position in the party. In the final, Mumbai Indians needed 19 runs with Hardik Pandya on the pen, but Ush -Yadav’s double strike at the twentieth seal the game by GT, and me ended in 162/9.
Previously, with the ball, Jasprit Bumrah was the prominent performer of Mumbai Indians, providing 3/14 sensational figures in four points. Also, Gerald Coetzee (2/27) and Pyush Chawla (1/31) encrypted with crucial doctors.
