Handmaid Story Creator hopes to get fans ‘get questions’ after the end of a series

Just because The story of the Handmaid Virgin Expired does not mean that all questions will be answered in the end of the series.

During a red carpet event on Wednesday, April 2, for the popular Hulu series, Creator Bruce Miller teased the last episode of the showjust say Weekly US“I hope (viewers) have questions when the show ends.”

Miller noted that Margaret AtwoodBook “is way too complicated to clite up tackle” on screen. “When I read the book I had a million questions at the end,” he remembered. “So I hope that if we do justice to the story told in the book, you will certainly have questions at the end.”

Based on the Atwood novel of the same name, The story of the Handmaid Virgin occur in dystopian A future where low fertility rates have led to women forcefully assigning men for the sole purpose of children’s stealing. He performed the Handmaid story for the first time in 2017 and was renewed for six seasons – but does not stop there. The fictional universe expands with an adaptation of the 2019 Atwood Novel The testament.

Hulu after six seasons on Hulu, the story of the maid Hands will wrap the story in 2025. “There are people who return and the same in the Testament. We’re going to bring characters from The story of the Handmaid Virgin to that world too, ”Miller noted when talking to Us. “So there are people who display – but will tell you who they are taking off all the fun.”

Meanwhile, executive producer Warren Littlefield call The story of the Handmaid VirginA final “Really satisfactorily.”

“Living in the world of Gilead to our congregation is sometimes a difficult journey,” he teased Us. “But I think their patience will be rewarded because this final year are ordinary women doing unusual things. The revolution is here and they are extremely effective. There is joy. There is still Gilead? Yes. But we celebrate what they achieve and I think it will be very satisfying to the audience.”

However, viewers should not expect to get all their questions Answer.

“We’re going to embark on an immediate tour with the Testaments. That’s still a world with Gilead. But it’s a completely different view,” added Littlefield. “We will satisfy and achieve triumphantly to our audience who have been with us through six seasons of the maid’s story.
