The commander-in-chief of Hamas is responsible for the heinous acts Attack on October 7 in Kibbutz Nir-Oz was killed by a targeted drone strike, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced.
Abd al-Hadi Sabah, who led the infiltration of Kibbutz Nir Oz that devastated the community near the Gaza border on October 7, was killed on Tuesday local time by the West Khan Younis Battalion.
The IDF said in a release on social media on Tuesday that it launched the strike based on intelligence along with Israel Security Agency (ISA).
The agencies said Sabah was hiding in a shelter in a designated humanitarian zone in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.

The agencies noted that Sabah was one of the leaders of the infiltration of Kibbutz Nir-Oz on October 7 and was a leader in “numerous terrorist attacks against IS troops.”

“The IDF and the ISA will continue to act against all terrorists involved in the deadly massacre on October 7,” the agencies said.
The IDF said it had taken “numerous steps” to reduce harm to civilians, using “precision munitions, intelligence and aerial surveillance”.
