Hallmark Channel is packed new Christmas movies every seasonbut what about New Years movies? Fans of the network are in luck, because there are a few magical stories for that holiday too!
The first New Year’s themed film premiered in 2008 and it wasn’t until nearly 10 years later that viewers got another film focusing on the December 31 or January 1. 2017 event. Royal New Year’s Eve centered around a prince and his unlikely princess falling in love on that special night.
“I love fairy tales, I found them beautiful (growing up). I love the suspense and I love to smile and cry at all the right moments,” Royal New Year’s Eve a star Jessy Schram he said during a behind the scenes interview in December 2017. “It’s fun to play the twinkle in someone else’s eye.”
There are certain elements that Hallmark Channel viewers can count on when they tuck in to watch a holiday movie — and the actors and actresses have come to expect the classic moments, too.
