An influencer nurse Hailey to schoolhusband, Matthew to schoolshares an honest update after her death.
“For those of you who knew Hailey, you know the incredible joy she brought to everything he touched,” wrote Matthew through Instagram On Sunday, April 20. “And for those who didn’t know her personally, Hailey had an endless love for the beach and traveling (though she hated cold water 😆 😆).”
Matthew shared a series of photos and videos from Hailey next to water, including one clip of her standing as she rocked from a set of wood swings in the ocean. In another video, Hailey showed her growing baby pump as she stood on the sand.
“Here are some of my favorite memories we shared together, exploring sandy shores close and far, going on adventures that always felt like magic,” he wrote. “Whether we were on a remote island worldwide or camping close to home, Hailey’s light and love was made every second forgotten. 🌊️.”
Matthew’s headline continued, “To my angel (because I know you keep tabs on me running your business), today is the Easter, and it’s impossible not to feel the pressure you are not here with. Only when I think the pain couldn’t be deeper, it is.
He finished his message by thanking Hailey for being “everything,” adding, “You’ve always been and you will always be my beautiful angel. 🪽 I love you forever, Hailey. ❤️.”
Matthew confirmed on April 1 that Hailey, a registered nurse in Los Angeles, last month died After complications during birth. She was 33.
“He had a heart suspension. Doctors say he comes from a very, very rare complexity known as amniotic liquid embolism,” Matthew told Fox11LA earlier this month. “There’s no treatment, there’s no way to diagnose. It’s so sad to think of other people having to go through what I’m going through at the moment.”

Matthew shared that Hailey, who led to the crew of a son in March, She saw her son short before it needs resuscitation.
“He managed to see him for a split moment, and I’m always going to remember that,” Matthew told La Fox Associate Member. “We both looked at him and… we had a little quick laugh there, she had a little tear on her face. I and the crew walked out of the room and said they finished, she will be there in a moment.”
He added, “Literally a minute later, the doctor came in and let me know that they were making CPR on her. I make the decision, ‘Am I going to the ICU with my wife or am I staying with my new -born baby?’ Not the decision we thought we would make.
