Abdoo rose equally excited for season 4 of Hack as even the most zealous superfan.
Talking to Weekly US Only at Palefest La, Abdoo, 62, gave fans a glimpse of what to expect When the new season shows for the first time. According to Abdoo, the season will show a deeper relationship between the show’s main character, Deborah Vance (Jean Smart), and her estate manager, Josafefina (Abdoo).
“This season, you can see how concerned Josefina is to Deborah because Deborah has a ton of weight and is trying to be very control. And Josefina also controls,” said Abdoo. “She’s not just my manager. They really love her.
The concern that Abdoo adds to the character comes from a familiar place.

That’s all that Abdoo would share for the coming season – she couldn’t expand even if she wanted to.

Season 3 of Hack It ended with Deborah’s proposal-and then revoked the offer-to be the lead author of Ava on his late night show. Ava then blackmailed Deborah, telling her that if she does not give her the role, then she would reveal that Deborah was sleeping with the network owner just before she was announced to have the late night gig.
The movement is one Deborah herself she could have done if she were in the same situation and, as Abdoo said, Smart is the exact actress she would want to see in response to that betrayal.
“Just to watch, you’ll be close to watching Jean doing her thing – the best. It’s the best,” he said. “It’s a masterclass, really.”
