The singer (real name Claire Elise Boucher) made the comments in response Tweet directed at her by Azealia Banks posted via X on Thursday, December 26.
Referring to a quarrel between the pair who made headlines in 2018 and re-shared a meme that depicted Banks and Grimes as enemy characters in the film WickedBanks strike out at Grimes.
Banks accused Grimes, 36, of not letting go of their alleged feud and “still trying to paint me as the villain and act like a man above me.”
Elon Musk and Grimes were together for four years before calling it quits in 2022. The couple made their red carpet debut in May 2018, shortly after reports of their relationship emerged . “Girl the way you still try to hold out on some weird – innocent bull – t years later after you’ve been dumped, cheat on,” Banks, 33, wrote.
Banks went on to describe Grimes as having “PEAK white female delusion,” and added, “Get over ourselves.”
“You can really stop talking about me. I know you wish you could be my best but b–tch….. it’s boring as hell. Let it go,” he continued.

The musician also refuted the comment that she had been “dumped” by Musk, 53, claiming it was the other way around.
“I didn’t ‘get dumped’. I’m bouncing. My amazing baby is sleeping in my bed next to me, I’m in love. no regrets. Life is as beautiful as you want it to be,” Grimes wrote.
He continued: “Ur crazy talented. Even after all this, I want you to win. God bless Mlady.”
It was Grimes and Musk together for four years before their split in 2022 and since then they have suffered a messy custody battle for their three children, son X Æ A-Xii, 4, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and son Techno Mechanicus, 2.

Grimes confirmed she had split with Musk by post on X which referred to a Vanity fair an article about their relationship which had recently been published at the time.
“E and I have broken up *again* since writing this article haha, but he is my best friend and the love of my life, and my life and art are forever dedicated to The Mission now,” she wrote via X in March 2022. “I think Devin wrote that part of the story well. Sique – peace out.”
In addition to the children he shares with GrimesMusk is also the father of six other children from other relationships.
