Savre, 36, posted a carousel of holiday snaps featuring himself and McKidd51, packed on the PDA during a Christmas trip to Scotland via Instagram on Wednesday, January 1.
“You had a jolly holly Christmas… 🎶 I hope you all did too! 🥂 🎄,” he captioned the post.
Among the carousel was a video, filmed by McKidd, of the pair kissing. McKidd told Savre that he doesn’t “take good pictures” and that’s why he was filming, before telling her, “I love you.”
Kevin McKidd and Danielle Savre went from playing colleagues on screen to starting a real life romance. The Shondaland actors were first linked romantically in June 2023 after they were photographed packing on the PDA in Italy’s Lake Como. Although it is not known when the pair’s romance officially began, they both appeared on the small screen together in several crossover episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 – (…)
Other photos show the couple getting into the festive spirit. One featured the actors posing in Christmas tree costumes while another showed them gazing into each other’s eyes in front of a Christmas tree.
More pictures showed McKidd and Savre being photographed in front of a local pub decorated for Christmas. Separate photos captured Savre indulging in a cocktail at one of the venues and another photo showed her sipping on a pint of beer.
The Shondaland actors were first linked romantically in June 2023 after they were photographed packing on the PDA in Italy’s Lake Como. But it seems that not all of McKidd and Savre’s fans had yet realized that they were an item.
“Wait… I missed a BIG chapter. Or was it the hard launch? 🚀 🔥🙌” one follower commented on Savre’s post.
Others were just as shocked by the adorable Instagram post, with another follower saying, “Who was I a year old today when I found out these two were together IRL. 😂 happy new year!”
Referring to McKidd’s character on Grey’s Anatomyanother shocked follower added, “Wtf she and Owen hunt dating in real life?”

It is unclear when McKidd and Savre’s relationship first turned romantic. However, they first appeared in a crossover episode of their respective shows in February 2020.
McKidd and his ex-wife Arielle Goldrath – he shares his son Aiden, 6, and his daughter Nava, 5, with him. call it quits in early 2022. The actor was also married before Jane Parkerhe shares his son Joseph, 24, and his daughter Iona, 22.
Meanwhile, Savre was previously linked to a hockey specialist Andrew Contis in 2019.
