Hugh GrosvenorDuke of Westminster, and wife Olivia Henson are officially parents.
“The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are delighted to announce the birth of their little girl,” said the couple Hi! In a Sunday statement, July 27 ,. “They have named her Cosima Florence Grosvenor, born in London today.”
The statement continued, “The Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess are now looking forward to spending this special time together as a family.”
The news broke in March that Grosvenor expects his first baby with Henson.
“The Duchess is expecting a baby in the summer,” said a spokesman for Grosvenor and Henson at the time. “The couple loves the news and looks forward to starting a family together.”
Grosvenor married Henson in June 2024, eight years after inheriting his dukedom. Previously, Hugh’s father, Gerald Cavendish Grosvenor, presided over the Duchy of Westminster until his death in 2016 following a heart attack.
Hugh is also doing humanitarian work, including the running of the Westminster Foundation.
“We focus our efforts where we believe we can have the greatest impact through grant funding, helping charities grow stronger and more resilient,” said Hugh in June statement. “(We too) join others to push for a wider positive change.”
Hugh also has impressive royal links like Godson King Charles III and a long -lived friend to Prince William. (The Prince of Wales, 43, named even Hugh as his eldest son Godfather Prince George.)
William even served as a guide At Hugh’s 2024’s wedding, attends a solo while his wife, Princess Kate Middletoncombat an undisclosed type of cancer. Kate, 43, confirmed her diagnosis in March of that year.
“I’m healthy and strengthening every day by focusing on the things that will help me improve in my mind, body and ghosts,” he said in a statement at the time. “Having William by my side is also a great source of comfort and certainty, so does the love, support and kindness that so many of you have shown. It means so much to the two of us.”
Kate took a step back from her official royal duties as she had chemotherapy, who completed in Fall 2024. She Now in forgiveness.
