The first image showed a black-and-white picture of Starke in the cradle of his stomach. Subsequent images included her mother, Close, 77.
“Swipe for leisure from a classic family picture,” also read Starke’s headline. “My grandmother, @glennnclose and me in the womb… Now grandmother ‘dog,’ me & rory in the womb (huge). Aggressive sofa fabric patterns are included. “
Both images were captured at the time and now on a flower print sofa. The first appeared to be in 1988, close when she was pregnant with Starke as her mother looked forward. In the more recent picture, Starke sat out with his belly so close to sitting beside her and looked lovingly on. (Nearly shares her daughter with John Starkeshe was married between 1987 and 1991.)
Starke – who is Close’s only child – has followed in her mother’s acting footsteps, appearing in several films and a TV show over the years. Most recently appeared as Lily Cartwright in Netflix’s Rat.
Nearly came a grandmother earlier this year when Starke and her husband Album mark A son, Rory Westaway, welcomed on February 7. (Starke announced in November 2024 that she and Albu were preparing to become parents.)
“We’ll never be the same,” Headed Instagram County last month when announcing his birth. “We love you so much, sweet boy.”
Starke married Albu in June 2018 at her childhood home in Bedford Hills, New York – a farmhouse estate called Beanfield – two years after he was offered.
“We immediately knew we would love to get married in Beanfield,” said Starke Bride at the time. “Beanfield has been incredibly special for both of us, my parents, and our many family friends over the years. It is a community home for our beloved force, as it were, and we could not imagine our marriage happening anywhere else. “
He added, “We didn’t want anything fussy-nothing but a simple, inspired chic by the country, with an emphasis on the June season.” (Close sold Beanfield in 2020 for $ 2.75 million.)
Previously, Starke spoke about growing up at Bedford Hills, and how she allowed her to have a “extremely normal childhood” despite the fame of her mother nominated for Oscar.
“I’m a little boring. I was a barefoot child, outdoors, never had siblings, but I had cats and dogs, and was very surrounded by nature, ”he said People In 2018. “I credited my parents for keeping me on the ground and keeping it normal. I still have my oldest friends since high school. It was a lovely place to grow up. “
