Gianluigi Donnarumma dissipates concerns about his form in the Guardiola system

Gianluigi Donnarumma has no concern for having asked to play in the back of Manchester City after his Deadline move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Donnarumma moved to the Etihad Stadium, having been surplus for PSG requirements after the arrival of Lucas Chevalier de Lille.

Donnarumma said in a press conference ahead of the classification of the World Cup in Italy with Estonia, Donnarumma said: “When the club is desired by a club like the city, it means that you have worked well and that one of the strongest coaches in the world as Guardiola is an indescribable emotion.

“I always trained well and I couldn’t expect to unite -me in the city because I really wanted me, the coach really wanted me, and that made me proud. To be so much desired for the best club in the world, I was proud, but also very emotional and happy.

“All coaches take their choices, I don’t know the reasons, but I’m proud to be trained by Guardiola, who has won so much and is one of the best in the world.

“I don’t think there is a problem using my feet. For what I’ve gotten from when I started playing at the age of 16 to today, I’ve always done great things. The mistakes will always happen, but I think I’ve achieved great things.

“I always try to help the team and do what the coach asks me. I do everything; you can always improve in everything, but as for the coach, I try to improve. I am sure that with Guardiola we will do a great job.”

Donnarumma was able to debut in the city that hosted Manchester United at the derby on September 14.
