Long before I was Governor Arkansas or White House spokesman, I came to Washington as a college graduate on my first real work in Department of Education. I thought it was there to change the world and it turned out that spending more time changing coffee filters.
But I left with a friend, Crystal’s pure lesson: it’s time to cancel the Federal Department of Education.
I am a mom of three years, so I know that no two children – not even in one family – to study equally. Then it is ridiculous to assume that every child in every community in America will have the same needs and goals in education. But this is exactly how the Department of Education functions.

If it works correctly, education can put even our most fighting children on the way to success. But from top to bottom, one in the size of the system will never meet the needs of each child.
It is high time to cancel the Department of Education, return power to the states and expand the capabilities of each parent and the student to get the necessary and deserves education.
