Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis posted on Instagram that his March 1st fight with Lamont Roach has been cancelled. Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) did not explain why his fight was canceled.

Tank Message: “The fight is crap to cancel.”

Fans on social media have greeted the cancellation with joy. They don’t want to see this albatross, especially since it’s on PPV. They see it as a mismatch, with super featherweight Roach (25-1, 10 KOs) standing no chance.

This troubled fight had already been rescheduled once since its original December 14 date, and fans have been critical of it since day one.
