Big George Foreman has died sadly, but he will always remain a legendary figure in the history of boxing. Foreman was a good faith of all the time, and it was an inspiration for millions of people.
Age is just a number: this was the ideal that the great George embraced when the heavyweight champion made an unexpected comeback in 1987. Foreman was 38 years old, he had lost the heavy weight championship against Muhammad Ali in 1974, and George had not fought in ten years. The comeback initially was not taken very seriously. Was widely perceived as a money trick. Foreman’s goal to recover the heavy weight crown seemed to be an unknown fantasy.
But Foreman struggled regularly, reducing the weight, becoming sharper and worked on a better state of struggle. Before knowing, a little over 4 years later, Foreman was a perfect 24-0 on the comeback track, with 23 of these wins at the distance.
