Gennaro Gattuso explained the reason for his public gap with the analyst Josko Jelicic.
Gattuso refused to shake hands with Jelicic or talk to him during a post-partite interview after Hajduk Split’s 3-0 defeat in the Rivals Rijeka title yesterday.
Jelicic, who used to play Hajduk, was not impressed with his performance and his criticism of Gattuso and his players clearly returned to Italian, who had no humor for pleasure when he came to confront television cameras.

Gattuso said, “I think he has no respect for me or players.
“I really offend me when someone tells me that I am a foreigner. What does this mean? I didn’t play football? That I do not belong here? Say -in my face, as you said we are playing badly. “”
Gattuso: Jelicic has been destroying my players for months
Jelicic won a cap for Croatia, but was sent against Austria and never played again.
And Gattuso questioned his credentials to criticize him and his team.
He added: “My players suffer more, for months, they have been destroying them with their sarcastic comments, acting as if he had won the World Cup, the Champions League and as if he were the largest coach in the world.”
