India’s main coach Gambhir Gautam has offered clarity about the future of senior players Shot kohli and Rohit Sharma On an international day, in the midst of the growing curiosity for its possible roles in the World Hate Cup of 2027. Faced the speculations that followed the retirement of the Kohli and Rohit test, Gambhir urged fans and analysts not to jump too much. The 2027 World Cup can be a reference event, but Gamshir believes it is too early to talk about squad plans for a tournament that is still more than two years old.
“We still have a World Cup of T20 earlier, and this is massive. He is going home in February March 2026, and this is where our full goal is. We will think about 2027 when the time comes.” Gambhir emphasized.
Gambhir, known for his meaningless approach, made it clear that both experience and current form are important when considering players for future tournaments. He fired the idea that the only age would dictate a player’s career.
