Ryan Garcia hit back at Bill Haney on social media after he was asked if he pulled out of his Dec. 24 exhibition match against Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo because he couldn’t make the 153-pound weight for to the party
Kingry noted that Bill has been talking about him “non-stop” and wants him to let him know when he wants his son, Devin Haney, to “fall back.” Ryan defeated former WBC Light Welterweight Champion Haney on April 20 in front of a crowd of 19,000 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Garcia agreeing to give Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) a rematch would likely be music to Bill’s ears, as he seems anxious for this fight to take place in 2025 once Ryan’s one-year ban expires.
Bill wants Ryan to sign up for drug tests before the rematch can happen. There are also the negotiations, which can be a nightmarish ordeal. If Bill has decided that Devin should be the A side of the negotiations, the rematch probably won’t happen.
Take my dick bill, you keep talking about me non-stop. When you want your child to fall again, let me know. https://t.co/JRZwApQPFa

According to Bill, Devin will take a year off. He’s not saying when he’ll fight next, but he’s likely hoping the fight with Ryan could happen in the first half of 2025.
If Bill really wants the rematch, it would help if they dropped the lawsuit and made peace with Ryan. He wants to help Devin by winning him back, but that won’t work in the current situation.
Garcia is in high demand and can make a boatload of dough fighting a rematch against Gervonta Davis, Teofimo Lopez, Jaron Ennis and Shakur Stevenson.
Superstar Garcia pulled out of the exhibition match due to a wrist injury sustained in training. The match will be rescheduled at a later date.
