The countdown is at the most anticipated meeting of the year. On Tuesday at 13.20, the headline will increase the tape, the famous roar will echo the Gloucestershire field and the Cheltenham 2025 festival.
Four days of elite horse racing, enhanced by a carnival atmosphere as leaders of the whole United Kingdom and Ireland gather for the “Greatest Show on Turf”.
The stars are of course horses. Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Teahupoo are scheduled to run before the climax arrives on Friday, with Galopin des Camps, which goes to their third successive gold cup.
Around the races are the narratives related to the coaches: Can Willie Mullins continues their domain; How Nicky Henderson will come out after his 2024 nightmare; Will Gordon Elliott succeed both?
Add the many complexities of this particular sport, the passage, the climate, the form and, without a doubt, there will be countless stories that arise during an absorbent week.
Races simply do not get better … 🤯

Constitution Hill is the first of the great times he performed, passing to the Hurdle champion, the functions race this Tuesday. Henderson star lost last year due to poor health, but he was expected to return with a punch. This was, however, until Elliott chose to enter Brightterdayayahad after a very impressive exhibition in Leopardstown in December. It should be a Royale Battle.
The second day, or style Wednesday, as he has received, he sees Jonbon in action at the queen’s mother’s champion, Steeple Chase. Henderson may have more confidence in this one, although he does not rule out Gaelic warrior, energy or the national sailor.
Can anyone stop Jonbon? 👀

Thursday is St Patrick’s Day, in which the emphasis is on both the “CRAIC” and the race. This does not mean that there is not much excitement on the court with two races of functions, including the obstacle of the Stayers in which Elliott’s Teathupoo should have enough to repeat the triumph of last year.
Then he is the big one, while Gallop des Camps tries to make history joining the Rake Cottage Rake, Arkle and Best Mate and turn on his back.
The star of the stable Mullins won a third successive Irish Gold Cup last month and will have great support to repeat the feat in Cheltenham.
“It’s huge,” said Mullins.
“It is incredible that we have a horse for a third glass of gold, (he) could be in Arkle, the best category of companions.
“To associate with a horse like this, it is a great honor to participate -we are all delighted and we hope that the dream will remain alive.”
Nothing feels like Cheltenham … 🤩

It would be a suitable ending of what will surely be another exciting festival if they are galloping from Camps.
But if he does not, he simply creates another headline, another horse pushes the star.
And come what you can, the fans will enjoy: Guinness will be drink; The stories will be told; The laughter will be long and strong.
