Gabriel Magalhaes believes that Arsenal has to turn a corner this season after losing itself to the platforms in recent years.
Ever since Mikel Arteta took the reins almost six years ago, Arsenal has experienced significant progress, but have not raised a major trophy since the 2020 Cup triumph during their debut season.
In the last three campaigns, the Gunners have been constantly approaching, ending the runners -up in the Premier League every year and fell into the Champions League and the Carabao Cup semifinals last season, losing to PSG and Newcastle.
“We have let a couple of titles slide for the fingers,” the 27 -year -old BBC Sport said, adding: “I think this year it will be different.
As the workforce starts on the preseason tour of Asia with accessories scheduled against AC Milan and Newcastle in Singapore, the attention focuses on making the necessary changes to finally bring home platforms.
One of the key problems last season was the number of injuries that interrupted the team’s attacking pace. Regular headlines such as Bukayo Saka, Kai Haviertz, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli went through extended periods.
The situation was worse when Gabriel Jesus was ruled out by a large part of the season with an ACL injury. With limited options in front, midfielder Mikel Merino was improvised as an improvised striker.

He acted admirably, marking seven times in 28 appearances in the league and scored a crucial goal in the victory of the Champions League on Real Madrid, but it is a situation that Arteta wants to avoid repeating.
“I don’t think we can give excuses,” added Gabriel. “We did everything we could for the past three years. I feel that sometimes we had a little bad luck, but we all believe that we can win great titles.”
Arsenal has been active in the transfer window, making several signings ahead of its Premier League’s Obracer at Manchester United on August 17.
So far, the club has introduced Winger Noni Madueke, midfielders Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The offers are also ongoing for the Viktor Gyokeras striker and the defender Cristhian Mosquera.
Zubimendi, who turned his head during the final of the Euro 2024 for Spain, was a key objective for several most important clubs, including Liverpool. Next to him, Norgaard has arrived from Brentford, bringing experience to a midfield remodeled by the outings of Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
Madueke offers depth and flexibility on the front line, supporting Saka and competing with Martinelli for minutes.
“I think the players who came will help us a lot,” said Gabriel. “The club is doing what is best for the players and the manager. Without a doubt they do their best to bring the best players who can help us, but we have to focus on what we can do on the pitch.

“The players who are here do. We are stronger and we are stronger with these new players.
“Definitely excite. We want to have the best players. To be on the titles dispute, you must have the best players.”
Gyokeras is expected to promote the target of Arsenal after a remarkable 54 -goal season with sports. Gabriel, who faced the Swedish in the clash of last year’s Champions League, even mimicked his celebration of Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over the sport.
“We all know that he is a great player, but he is a sports player not an arsenal player,” Gabriel said when he asked about the striker. “Playing against him last year was a challenge. It’s fantastic and had a great season. About the celebration, it’s something I can’t talk about right now.”
Entering her sixth season in North London, Gabriel feels that Arsenal is finally ready to make the final step.
“I have been to the club for five years now and I have seen how much the club has grown,” he said ahead of the Club’s Asia tour. “I am here to win great titles and I think this season will be different. We have let a couple of titles slide for our fingers recently.
“We almost won, but I think things will be different this year. I have a lot of faith in this.”
