Furious Amorim puts on players and calls for “lack of urgency” after West Ham’s defeat

Ruben Amorim said that he and his Manchester United players should leave if they cannot inject some urgency into their move.

United reduced to another defeat with Fight West Ham won 2-0 at Old Trafford this afternoon thanks to the goals of Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen.

United Flops again fight

Amorim made several changes next to Athletic Bilbao in the middle of the week, promoting United in the Europa League final against Tottenham, with the players who did not impress.

He told Sky Sports: “If we look at the goals we suffer, we can avoid these goals. The lack of energy, urgent. It is the most dangerous thing in this club. You can feel it at the beginning of the game. Between the box and the rival box there is a lack of urgency. This is something that we have to change in this club.

“I am responsible for this. It is frustrating because we are so close to the goals. We have a lack of urgency to protect our goal. This is week a week. We do not play so well in Europe League, but we have a different sense of emergency.

“It’s something we have to work on. It is on the pitch and off the pitch. If we are not able to do it (this), we have to leave and give space to different people. All of us.”

Our problems are not solved by beating Spurs – Amorim

Amorim said that a victory over Spurs in Bilbao on May 21 would take the cracks with United Sitting in the 16th place in the Premier League after his 17th defeat of an unfortunate campaign.

He added: “We are going to face a Premier League team, so we will fight. Of course, we will be more focused and this is a concern because we have to focus on all games.

“For me it doesn’t matter if we win the Europa League because the problems are much larger than that.”

Defender Leny Yoro sank against the Hammers, but Amorim suggested that it was not a problem that prevented him from playing against Tottenham.

“He had this problem at the beginning of the season,” said Portuguese. “We hope it’s not too serious. I don’t mean too much but maybe it’s not a big problem.”

Potter loved -with victory overcome

West Ham Bos Graham Potter greeted his players’ desire after they finished an eight -game victory without win.
