ICC started in a new age with Sanjog Gupta

With the appointment of Gupta as the seventh CEO of the CPI, a new chapter calls for Cricket International. Gupta, recognized for its transformative impact on sports dissemination in India and in the world, brings a new perspective rooted in the innovation and commitment of fans. As a former CEO of Jiostar Sports, he has been instrumental in shaping tent properties such as IPL and ICC events, and in multiestribal, digital and women’s sports coverage.

The selection of Gupta followed an extensive process of global hiring, reflecting the CPI’s commitment to excellence and inclusion. His vision aligns with the ambitious goals of the ICC: to expand the craiclet footprint, to deepen his roots in the basic markets and to establish the sport as a regular feature at the Olympic Games, from Los Angeles 2028. Gupta experience in the use of technology and commercial opportunities is expected to be a multiplier of strength, promoting the cricket to new territories and demographics.
