Freddie Freeman Had a lot of support in the stands on the opening day of the Dodgers this year!
On Saturday, March 29, wife of the first foundation man Chelsea Share and Photo on Instagram of himself with the three sons of the pair preparing to cheer Freeman and the rest of the team. The family still counts their blessings after their youngest son, MaximusHe was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition last year.
“It’s been so durable,” said Chelsea Weekly US In an interview announced on March 4. “It’s been amazing to see. It is still in (physical therapy) twice a week. It will be a full year recovery before it is back to normal completion.”
The couple announced that Max was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder where the body’s immune system attacks the nerves.
Chelsea added that the whole experience was “appalling.” He said, “It was very, very intense.
Fortunately, Max, 4, is doing much better now – he even started playing baseball this year, which is particularly special for his family. “I wasn’t even sure a few months ago if he were going to be able to play baseball,” admitted Chelsea. “You don’t know exactly how the recovery is going to go.”
She and Freddie are also Mum and Dad to Charlie, 8, and Brandon, 4, born three months before Max through Surrogacy. “It’s very cool,” said Chelsea wanting to see her three boys on the diamond. “Freddie grew up playing Little League, so he is definitely cool to see that Charlie is so baseball. Brandon is Lefty like Freddie. And Max is very athletic, too. It is very special to see them following in their father’s footsteps.”
The Dodgers were in the World Series as the family was still exploring Max’s experience. “It’s an absolute roller-coaster of our emotions,” said Chelsea in a postgame interview on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. In addition to Max’s diagnosis, Freddie had to recover from several injuries.
Chelsea continued, “I’m so proud of (O) everything we’ve gone through as a family this year and all its injuries. It’s actually Superman, but we’re so happy.”
