Tottenham ‘did not have some energy’, as Bayern Munich was released by 4-0 in his last preseason friend, Thomas Frank.
Harry Kane scored from the penalty spot against his former club before the goals of Kingsley Coman, Lennart Karl, 17, and Jonah Kusi-Asare, ended a dominant victory for the Bundesliga giants.
The Spurs Championship winners face the Paris St-Germain Champions League next week and despite strong defeat, Frank is not worried.
He said, “Obviously we were playing a very good team tonight. In my opinion, Bayern is one of the teams that are probably the favorites to win the Champions League, they reached a good level, we did not reach a good level, this is a bad combination, but we will definitely learn from it.
“I definitely have some answers that we will look, but now we will reflect calmly after the game and we will look at it.
“It also seems that we were lacking in some way energy that we must find; no team can play without that energy.”
Tottenham is in the Super Cup after winning the Europa League next season and will face the most severe tests against PSG before starting his first Premier League campaign under the old Brentford Frank head.
“100 percent we will be ready for this game, I have no doubt about it,” he added.
“There are six days ahead, we have a normal week for the first time in the last two weeks, so with everything, just going down, less traveling, energizing them, three or four good sessions, and we will be ready against PSG.”
