Theophimo Lopez’s timid mental state will be key to him in his fight against Arnold Barboza Jr. Next Friday, May 2, Dazn PPV. López (21-1, 13 kos) cannot afford another mental breakdown as we witnessed in several of his past fights, since the last four years, because he defeats in his battle in Times Square in New York City.

Turki Alshikh is interested in the fight against IBF and Wbo Wbo champion Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. If López loses in front of Barboza, he may forget to get the opportunity for that mega-phaid and would be stuck with the mini-tornization parameter.
Barboza is the toughest struggle that Lopez has taken since his confrontation against Jamaine Ortiz last February, and this was considered a gift decision that the snowfall of Nevada gave Teo, as he was dominated for everything.
Theophimo vuneralities
Arnold (32-0, 11 kos) is not so fast and does not launch combinations as Jamaine does. He is skilful, moves well and has an excellent fist. This is a weapon that Arnold used to defeat his last two opponents, Jake Catterall and Jose Ramirez.
When Teo is on, he is fantastic, he seems unbeatable, but he is not consistent enough to count. It will have to be 100% to be victorious against Barboza Jr. Because this guy has been much more busy with his career than him. Now he is fighting at a high level with his recent wins on Ramírez and Catterall.
“This time we are much more motivated. He has many things to prove. He has to defend his Ring Magazine. He is the best of the division right now, surpassing Josh Taylor,” said Teofimo Lopez Sr. Dazn boxSpeaking of his son, Wbo Light Welterweight champion, Teofimo Lopez.
“We have to enter there and keep this belt, keep the Ring magazine. So we will present on May 2 and show why we are the best,” continued Teofimo Mr. “It’s faster, smarter, stronger, and get to take -everything.”
The inactivity and fragile mental condition of Wbo Lightweight Lopez’s champion put him at risk in this fight against the mandatory rival number 1, Barboza Jr. (32-0, 11 kos). It has been about a year since the last Theophimo fight against Steve Claggett on June 29.
It was not well seen in that struggle, sunk against the ropes like a large bird, letting the traveler Claggett unload it with his heavy artillery without stopping. Although López won, his eyes were badly swollen and it seemed a terrible view. His promoter, Bob Arum, did not seemed happy after the fight with his performance.
