On Friday, the era of Thomas Tuchel England officially begins. The three lions are on the pitch for the first time under the 51 -year -old German, where Albania will be welcomed in a 2026 World Cup classification in Wembley before welcoming Latvia in London three days later.
The debate has been from the former -CEANANT of Chelsea, PSG and Bayern Munich was announced as a replacement for Gareth Southgate last year.
There has been a lot of talk about the selection of players, the training of teams and if this is the man who finally leads the men’s team to the glory of the World Cup for the first time in 60 years.
Here are four key questions ahead of Tuchel’s first game.

When FA appointed Sven-Goran Eriksson as the first foreign manager of the England men’s team in 2001, the reaction was a widespread outrage.
In the following years, the response to the perspective of a main coach of the non -English national team has softened a bit. Fabio Capello took over in 2007, while Sarina Wiegman was very successful – and a trophy was crucially landed as Lionesses manager.
However, there were some criticism when Tuchel, which comes from the great football rivals in England, Germany, was announced as a male head in October.
It is likely that some doubts cannot be fully won until Tuchel will deliver a little silver, that is, the World Cup of 2026, but with a proven record of winning trophies, the 51 -year -old has the opportunity to make a first impression on Friday.
After leaving his job in Mainz in 2014, Tuchel made a trip to Munich. There he met with Pep Guardiola, then the Bayern Munich Boss, and the couple spent hours at the dinner table, moving the salt and peppermills while in a deep tactical discussion.
Tuchel cites Guardiola as an important influence and it is not difficult to see similarities, especially in perfectionism, restlessness and, perhaps most important, success.
The German has won 11 important trophies, including the Champions with Chelsea in 2021, but it remains to see how it will set up its three -lion team.
At the beginning of his career, Tuchel favored a three-high system, using a 3-4-2-1 formation during his time in the blues. However, more recently, it has opted for a more traditional structure built in four.

Much of Tuchel’s first selection has been made. There were first calls for the tastes of Miles Lewis-Skelly and Dan Burn, while the new manager’s inaugural squad also saw the amazing return for Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson.
But the question is the one who will do his eleven. Will the new manager opt for experience or, on the other hand, are going to look for young blood? Will you experience, or choose what you think is your strongest team of available players?
In any way, despite his reputation as a disciplinary, Tuchel is known for his man’s management skills and his human touch. A Christmas while in Chelsea, Tuchel imported 200 boxes of Lebkuchen cakes (cakes with honey discomfort) from a bakery in Germany so that everyone in the club had a gift.
It was an incredible week for Dan Burn and we love to see it. ๐๐

Some things, they say, improve with age. It is an idea that could be properly applied to Dan Burn of Newcastle United.
If the 32-year-old wins her first cap in the upcoming accessories, she will become the oldest debuting of the men in England since Kevin Davies made his international arch and the only Montenegro-Contra-Contra-Contra-Contra-Contrada in October 2010.
In case of burning the function, it will take the 21st place among the oldest men’s debutants in Lions, between Portsmouth’s Jack Smith (32Y 354D) and Manchester City goalkeeper Frank Swift (32Y 276D).
It would mark a notable day for Blyth-born player, who won the opening goal, as the Magpies won 2-1 winners about Liverpool in Wembley to lift the Carabao Cup and end the Drawing of the Main Domestic Trophy of the 70-year-old club.
