Before MLB’s Biper Daniel Serafini and his mistress, Samantha ScottExchange of love letters while in prison, according to new evidence.
Testimonating against Serafini in court, Scott read some of the notes that sent her interest interest after he was arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder for shooting his wife’s parents.
“I love you, and I think about you so much everyday,” said Scott when reading Serafini’s alleged letters through People. “As mad as it sounds, I wish we had more court days so I could see your face. I wish I could tell you not to be so scared, but I understand that you are. There is nothing to be afraid of it really. And it will be over soon.”
In one letter, Serafini shared his plans for the day he can be released from prison and reunited with Scott.

Scott testified that the sentence was a reference to a period when the pair had sex in a car park at Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

“I also hire you to help me finish it,” allegedly to Serafini writing. “So we need to go on a couple of road trips to get some facts straight. Along with pictures of some places. I’m pretty sure some stops along the highway will be on the road and back.”

Scott said it was uncertain what Serafini meant when she described himself as “the wolf.”
Scott’s evidence was part of a deal she made with prosecutors who allowed her to plead guilty to the smaller accessory accusation, People Reporting.
In 2021, police responded to a home in the city of Tahoe, California, where they found Serafini’s father-in-law, Gary SprohDied and Serafini’s mother-in-law, Wendy Woodseriously injured from gun shooting wounds.
During the investigation, detectives decided that Serafini was responsible for the crimes. He ordered into Auburn prison in October 2023.
On July 14, a jury in a plaque county found Serafini guilty of first degree murder and attempted murder of his laws. The jury also found the defendant guilty of first degree burglary. Sentencing is expected to take place on Monday, August 18.

As she waits for sentencing, Adrienne hopes that the public remember her mum and father as two “strong” individuals who left the world too soon.
“My parents were forces of nature. They were strong, adventurous, generous and loved deeply,” he said. “That’s how I want people to remember them – not as victims but like the amazing people.”
