Former bachelorette Pappas Deanna spoke out following her recent arrest.
“On behalf of our client, Deanna Pappas, we want to tackle recent public speculation and explain the current legal status of issues arising from a former spouse’s incident,” a shared statement through Pappas’ Instagram stories Early on Thursday, April 3, reading. “After a full investigation and a review of video evidence, the detective reserved decided that Ms. Pappas was not the attacker. No criminal charges were filed.”
“In the best interests of the toddlers, Ms Pappas withdrew a temporary suspension order to reach a collaborative agreement, allowing the children to be shaded from prolonged conflict and public exposure,” the statement continued. “Any ongoing attempt to distort facts or interfere with the welfare of the children will be fulfilled with the appropriate legal response. Ms Pappas remains committed to protecting her children from further trauma and maintaining their right to privacy, as recognized by law.”
The statement concluded, “We respectfully ask the media to refrain from further speculation and avoid the dissemination of narratives that may affect the emotional well -being of the children. This issue is properly progressing through the legal system, and Ms Pappas will not comment further at present.”

“Stephen told me that I needed to walk closer to him because he wanted to smell my breath to make sure I wasn’t drunk. I hadn’t consumed any alcohol. I ignored Stephen’s comment, and I walked back to the garage,” claimed Pappas who claimed in a statement filed by Lynn Stgliano, who seemed to be Stephen’s mother. “I heard (a) noise behind me. I turned around to see Stephen follow me into my garage.”
Pappas continued: “Addison had been left alone sitting in his car with the engine running. I tried to close the door of my garage. Stephen pushed my garage door up so he wouldn’t close. I shouted on Stephen to get out of my garage. Stephen refused to leave.”
The former ABC personality is alleged to have gone inside and locked its door. However, it is alleged to have walked back out after hearing sounds from his garage. He claimed that Stephen was stealing items out of the garage and went to face it.
“Stephen took his hands, grabbed me, and then moved me forcefully. He pushed my back again,” he said, claiming that Stephen had called the authorities. “In fear he would hurt me, I immediately went back inside the house and locked the door while waiting for police to arrive.”

(According to the filing, Lynn had visited Pappas’ home earlier in the day to pick up Austin and claim to smell alcohol on her breath.)
“Stephen had told the Sheriff that I was the attacker who attacked him, who was false,” he claimed. “I was not asked to test alcohol at any time despite Stephen’s claims. In fact, the officer who arrested me did not demonstrate any concern that I was drunk at all.”
Pappas was arrested on a misconduct charge on February 27. She was released the same day on a $ 20,000 bond. Pappas claimed that she had voluntarily submitted to drug tests – which is allegedly tested – following her release. In the legal paperwork, Pappas denied the allegations made by Stepehn that she had a drinking problem.
“A foundation (Stephen) is based on her fabrication that I am an alcoholic,” he claimed. “This is completely fake and fabricated as a way for (Stephen) to win leverage in his attempt to alienate the children from me.”
