Former Brazilian President Balsanar is found guilty of a state coup story

Former Brazilian President Jiri Balsanar was found guilty of planning a military coup.

The Supreme Court of Brazil has reached most of the three votes needed to find it guilty. One judge voted for his excuse, and the other has not yet voted.

The 70-year-old guy was convicted of keeping his conspiracy to preserve his power after he lost his election in 2022 to his left rival Louise Lule to Silva.

While the plot was unable to enroll sufficient support for the military to go forward, on January 8, 2023, it ended with storming state buildings of Bolsonar, found out that the judges.

The allegations are difficult and may be a prison period for more than 40 years. The sentence is scheduled for Friday.

His lawyers are expected to submit appeals.

If two of the five judges at the Supreme Court Board vote “not guilty”, his lawyers may demand from the full Supreme Court – that is, all 11 judges – to review the sentence.

Thus, the voting of final justice is to sentence Cristiano Zanin.
