Former Boss Mafia shot shot on Grenobl highway

Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a 71-year-old Mafia boss on a freeway near Grenobl in the southeast of France.

Jean-Pierre Malder reportedly described by the French media as the “godfather” of the local mafia in the 1980s, was pursued in a car and shot when he traveled on the A41 motorway on Wednesday morning.

The shooters escaped from the stage, and the remains of the stolen car Megane Renault, which they driving, were found in the Grenoble parking lot soon.

His death occurs ten years after the disappearance of his younger brother Robert Molder, another boss of the mafia, reportedly called “crazy” by members of the criminal underground world Grenol.

The regional newspaper Le Dauphiné Libéré reported that Maldera left BMW he was traveling and tried to run through the freeway.

In local media, he was driven and killed by the attackers involving three -four militants.

They reportedly used a military level weapon, such as Kalashnikov’s rifle to kill.

It was reported that Malder was a key figure in the so-called Mafia-Greek Mafia group in the 1980s and 1990s, as well as his brother Robert.

In 2004, the couples were found guilty of a number of crimes related to organized crime, although they were released next year with an administrative mistake, French media reported.

However, this was not the first time Molder was condemned. According to the French regional media point of France 3, he had a raplist, which lasted until the 1970s.

But Malder chose a more peaceful life after being released from prison in the early 2000s, and AFP reports that the authorities did not hear about him again this week.

It is unclear whether Molder was still involved in criminal activity during death.

His brother Robert disappeared in 2015 at the age of 55.

He went missing after visiting the meeting on the outskirts of Granob. His machine was discovered two months later in the parking lot.

The source investigated by the Malder brothers told France 3 that Jean-Pierre was a brain behind her schemes, while Robert was a brother.
