Former four-divisions world champion, Roy Jones JR, is used to giving him his scant boxes of this time and the previous epochs, but apparently the Floyd boxing icon “Money” Mayweather (50-0, 27 ko), he felt some kind when Jones said that Mayweather would lose in a certain fantasy concordity.
During his legendary career, Floyd Mayweather defeated 24 fighters who were current or former world champions. Roy Jones JR believes that a certain boxer who defeated three quarters of the legendary four -kings quartet of the 1980’s would sell Mayweather.
In the mid -1990’s until the early 2000’s, Roy Jones Jr seemed unbeatable when he won the pound’s king’s position. During the time when Roy Jones was the prominent attraction of Boxing, a young boxer with the name “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather, began his career.
After dominating the super-thin and heavy light divisions during the previous nine years, Roy Jones moved to heavy weight. In his debut, Jones Jr defeated John Ruiz for a unanimous decision and won the heavy weight title of WBA.
After his triumphant victory, Roy Jones went down again to a slight heavy weight, and unfortunately the iconic boxer showed signs of decaying. After Jones faded, Mayweather changed his name from Pretty Boy to Money, and became the new boxing face.
Mayweather was proud to be a boxer who defeated all the fighters who entered the ring. Mayweather recently offended Roy Jones by choosing a boxer to defeat him in a game vs era.
As said before, this boxer won a victory against three -quarters of the legendary Quartet of four kings. He did not defeat the four of the other 25 percent of the group.
During his interview with the podcast “All the Smoke Fight”, Roy Jones Jr stated that he believes that Sugar Ray Leonard would have broken Floyd Mayweather Jr.
“Floyd is not as medium as sugar. How will he keep him out of it? Sugar is a Dawg! Just because his sugar name does not mean anything! Sugar is a Dawg! People don’t give enough credit for it,” said Jones.
Roy Jones said, “For me, I like Floyd, and Floyd is great, but it’s like Floyd Daddy did not fight so close to sugar. The sugar did what he wanted to do with Floyd Daddy.”
Jones referred to the combat that took place in September 1978 when Sugar Ray Leonard detained Floyd Mayweather Sr in the tenth round. Floyd Mayweather JR was not a fan of Roy Jones’s comments, and decided to answer with a subliminal message.
Floyd Mayweather proceeded to publish videos of him seeing that Roy Jones Jr was demolished. In the first video of his Instagram history, Mayweather published the footage of when Tarver connected with a shot to the left and launched Jones in the second round.
The next clip Mayweather saw was from four months later, when Glen Johnson hit Roy Jones in the ninth round. Mayweather continued to sit on her couch and seeing the big screen while Danny Green detained Jones in the first round.
The final lowlight Mayweather Seen was the Clip of Enza Maccarinelli who hit Roy Jones JR in the fourth round. During the posting of these videos, Mayweather did not speak, but he was able to send a subliminal message to Roy Jones Jr.
Mayweather’s sarcastic response could have added much more fuel to the fire. Now the question is: will it become a battle of Mayweather vs Jones JR Social Media, or could it be materialized -in a possible exposure combat?
