Five died after two helicopters in Finland

Five people were killed after two civil helicopters collided in the air in Finland, local police said.

The helicopters crashed near Eura Airport at about 12:00 local time (10:00 GMT) after flying together with the capital of Estonia Tallinn.

Authorities found wreckage of helicopters in the forest area. Police notes that there were two people in one helicopter and in the other.

They are on the way to the aviation event at the Piykajärvi flight in Cakemeki, local media reported.

The planes were registered in foreign helicopters. The accident is investigated by police.

Finnish and Estonian officials said they were working with each other in the probe.
