Mind A particular boys band in 2010sFifth Harmony was formed on the reality competition series – and like that group, they have remained busy in the years after their hiatus.
Fifth of harmonyA story began in 2012, when each of its five members – Ally Brooke. Camila Cabello. Norms. Dinah Jane and Lauren Jauregui – audition for the US edition of The Factor X. as individual competitors. They did not proceed alone but judges Simon Cowell. Demi Lovato. La ride and Britney Spears bring them back to form a women’s group.
After calling themselves Lylas and initially 1432, they settled on the name Fifth Harmony after a public vote. They finished in third place during the end of the December 2012 season, and a month later, Cowell signed them to his record label, Syco Music.
The band’s debut album, ReflectionHitting stores in January 2015, and quickly became one of the biggest acts in pop music. Drama began the following year, however, when Cabello announced in December 2016 that she was leaving the group.
The other four members claimed to have been blinded by her decision, later confirming in March 2018 that Fifth Harmony would Go on unspecified hiatus as they pursue individual projects. While fans were ruined, the women fulfilled their promise, and all four have since released their own singles.
