Federal Judge in Massachusetts ruled on Friday that A Postgraduate University Tufts University Turkey, which was detained this week, cannot be deported without a court ruling.
International Student Rumens Ozturk, 30 years old, was detained by a federal authorities near the apartment building outside the campus, confirmed University President Sunil Kumar.
US District Court Judge Denise Casper on Friday ruled that the government should respond to the updated complaint by Ozturk by Tuesday by Tuesday. Associated Press reported.
“In order to allow the court to decide on his jurisdiction, Ozturk is not removed from the United States to further order this court,” the judge wrote.
On Wednesday, the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Security told Fox News that a student of the University of Rumes Otsturk’s tuppa was “granted a privilege in this country on a visa” and that “DHS and ICE studies found that OCTUC was engaged in supporting Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization.” (AP)

Last week Ozturk is just one of the many university students who are detained by ice.
University Minnesota President Rebecca Koninging on Friday sent a letter to students, teachers and staff who confirm that an international postgraduate student was detained on Thursday outside the campus.
Koninging called the situation “deeply regarding”, noting that the university “did not know about this incident or shared any information with the federal authorities before it happened.”
She added that “it is important to note that” its public safety on campus, including UMPD “, do not obey the federal immigration laws, and our officers do not ask about human immigration status.”
