Federal Judge Rules Trump Administration cannot immediately deport the student Tufts

University Minnesota President Rebecca Koninging on Friday sent a letter to students, teachers and staff who confirm that an international postgraduate student was detained on Thursday outside the campus.

Koninging called the situation “deeply regarding”, noting that the university “did not know about this incident or shared any information with the federal authorities before it happened.”
