Shooting at a school in Minneapolis, who left two children, and 17 more victims are investigated as an anti -Catholic hatred crime, the FBI says.
“The FBI is investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crimes,” FBI Director said in a report on X.
Two children aged 8 and 10 were killed when the attacker opened fire through the windows of the city switch on Wednesday when the children celebrated the Mass.
The attacker, who died at the site of a self-abstract wound, was later appointed by police 23-year-old Robin Westman.
Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope, was one of those who paid tribute to the young victims, saying he was “deeply upset” by the attack.
Police chief Brian O’Hara told reporters: “It was a deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other people who worship.”
“Sincere cruelty and cowardice shooting to a church full of children, it is absolutely unclear,” he said.
Asked about the comment of the pate, he said that the Ministry of Mineneapis Police was investigating federal agencies – and will conduct evidence wherever it led.
The authorities have not yet released the suspect the motive of the attack.

Police found a note that Westman planned to publish on the Internet during the shooting. Since then, the investigators have removed the position.
Governor Tim Waltz said President Donald Trump and his team expressed their “deep condolences” and offered assistance.
He said the situation “everything is too common – not only in Minnesota, but all over the country,” adding that he hoped that no community and school will never have to go through such a day.
Later, Trump said the US flag would fly for six months in the White House as the victim’s respect.
